After mastering my favorite hand soap recipe, which can be found HERE I quickly went on to experimenting on DIY natural dish soap recipes. The great thing about this recipe is that it uses a lot of the same ingredients as the hand soap, so no need to buy tons of other ingredients. The one ingredient that makes this dish soap different than the DIY Hand Soap that I make is Baking Soda. Baking Soda is 100% sodium bicarbonate which is a salt composed of sodium and bicarbonate ions. Baking soda is a mild disinfectant and is slightly abrasive which is why I chose to use it in this recipe. The recipe below works just as well as the conventional ones you buy in the store (my opinion it’s even better) oh and did I mention that it’s a foaming soap?!!! How can you go wrong!

Recipe fits one foaming pump container, like this ONE
¾ cup filtered water
½ cup unscented Castile Soap
½ tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Coconut Oil
*5 drops of your favorite Essential Oil (I use Thieves by Young Living for its cleaning power)
Mix all ingredients and voila! You have your very own natural dish soap! This recipe is so easy and is perfect for a lazy DIYer (like me)!
